Terms of Service

1. The service
Roava lets you rent virtual phone numbers and receive (and, where supported, send) SMS messages through the Roava web app. Numbers are provided through licensed carrier partners. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account information.
2. Billing
Numbers are billed as a recurring monthly subscription per number (the price is always shown before you pay), processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews monthly until you release the number or cancel. You can release a number at any time in the app; billing for it stops at the next cycle, and partial months are not refunded.
3. No emergency services
Roava numbers do not support emergency calls or texts (911, 112, 999 or similar). Never rely on a Roava number to contact emergency services.
4. Acceptable use
You may only use Roava as described in our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it, are required to be terminated by a carrier partner or regulator, or that create fraud or abuse risk.
5. Numbers
Numbers are leased, not owned. A released number returns to the carrier pool and may be reassigned; recover of a released number is not guaranteed. Carriers or regulators may occasionally reclaim a number — if that happens we will provide a replacement where possible.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. Message delivery depends on third-party carriers and destination networks and is not guaranteed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to Roava in the 3 months before the claim.
